A new Danio I got from Ingo Seidel in March 2007. I am currently raising the first batch of 30-40 fry, some of which I have given to Eric Bodrock in early October 2007 for further safeguarding and breeding since I only have one female. According to fishbase.org Danio meghalayensis is a synonym to Danio dangila, however, these two species are very easy to distinguish and cannot belong to the same taxon. I hope to breed my F1 to spread this attractive fish among the American hobbyists.
