Ordering
Your order may be delivered to shows, auctions, and conventions that I attend. Contact me for details. Furthermore, all orders are shipped by FedEx Express or Ground (live fish Monday through Wednesday only, dry goods any day) or picked up upon mutual agreement.
Buyers in Ohio pay applicable sales tax.
Shipping
I ship my fish in molded styrofoam boxes with outer cardboard. My ZIP code is Columbus, OH 43235. There are no box or handling fees, just a flat shipping fee. You may order as many fish as you would like, the shipping cost remains the same! I ship FedEx Express with live arrival guarantee for only $35.00 that includes all packing, handling, and shipping fees. However, I cannot guarantee the exact arrival time! Once the package is out of my hands, I have no influence over its progress.
SwissTropicals Live Arrival Guarantee (I cannot guarantee the arrival time)
I offer live arrival for my animals since I am convinced that my juveniles are among the best you can purchase. In a case of a DOA, please notify me immediately. If you are not at home on the first delivery attempt the guarantee is void. Depending on availability, I will replace the animals or refund the purchase price. I will ship replacement animals at my expense because my guarantee is watertight. None of this "I ship you more if you pay shipping" nonsense! However, there is no more guarantee on the replacement animals. At my discretion, I reserve the right to delay shipping when the temperature is below 50 °F (10 °C) or above 86 °F (30 °C). In any case, I will work with the recipient to ship at a mutually agreeable time to ensure that the fish arrive safely but I cannot guarantee that they arrive at a specific time.

I have been exchanging emails with Stephan about Poret foam. I told him that I have been cleaning my Rena canister filter at least twice a month. He told me to try his Poret foam-10 PPI. I have been using it for 2 weeks now. I don't see any loss of water flow and the water is crystal clear. For a spare 37 gal tank, Stephan recommended to use the Hamburg Mattenfilter (HMF), how to set-up the filter and to use a water pump with <100 GPH. He said with confidence that the pump will be able to filter my 37 gallon tank sufficiently with the HMF. I am still "IMPRESSED" to date.
